My Story

A Passion for Wellness
As a fellow teen, I know how hard the past 2 years have been trekking through a pandemic filled with loneliness, depression, and mental health challenges. Now slowly transitioning back into a sense of normalcy, is even more difficult than expected. From working on Teen Link, a teen crisis line in Washington state, I have learned about the wide range of mental and social issues that teens face daily. Teen mental health is at an all-time low, but, at the same time, we are expected to have grown and matured over the past two years. With the demands of school, extracurriculars, sports and social involvement, teens often put their own well-being last.

Teen.Self.Health is a website advocating for the normalization of mental health. These days so many people struggle with a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, suicide ideation, eating disorders, etc. It is my goal to be able to provide resources, helpful self-care activities benefiting teens, and leave a place where people can anonymously leave comments, ask questions, etc.

The Blog! I am super excited to say that I will be having a monthly blog where mental professionals share their cents on different mental topics.

I’m here to help you boost your well-being and remind you how incredible it is to feel at your best, every single day. Join me on a journey of health and wellness and start taking care of what’s truly important. Learn that self-care is NOT selfish, and not always being okay is OKAY!
